San Gimignano is famous as the town of many towers. It has been awarded the UNESCO World Heritage status, there are only 15 remaining towers out of 75, it is the symbol of Medieval Tuscany and within its town walls man can still imagine the life of ancient times. Famous, historical resort with 7000 inhabitants in the centre of the region, on top of a hill with beautiful view, 45 km south-west from Firenze, 40 km north-west from Siena.
